Radiation Safety Orientation
This is a required class for anyone working with radioactive materials at IU. Training includes information on the potential hazards associated with the use of radioactive material, the means by which these hazards can be minimized, emergency procedures, security and institutional procedures for the procurement, use, and disposal of radioactive material. Adequate understanding of the training topics must be demonstrated through satisfactory
completion of a written exam.
