Chemical Safety

The mission of Indiana University’s Chemical Safety Programs are to promote a high quality of laboratory safety practices and to ensure regulatory compliance by providing guidance and supervision for all uses of hazardous chemicals in laboratories.

The Chemical Safety Programs for Bloomington and the regional campuses are administered by the Office of Environmental, Health, and Safety Management at IUB. The Chemical Safety Programs for Indianapolis and the Columbus campuses are administered by IUPUI Environmental Health and Safety.
