Clinical Trials Services will do the review and negotiation for all industry sponsored clinical trials. In general, Clinical Trials Services Contract Officers will review contract language to protect the University and the investigator's rights for publication, intellectual property, indemnification and other such issues. They will also negotiate study-specific contract provisions as requested, in writing, by the Principal Investigator. Before doing so, however, you will need to discuss these provisions directly with the contract officer who has been assigned to negotiate your study contract.
